The Passport Program offers many benefits to students.


Passport Program Benefits

  • Freshman Seminar course offered at UNC Charlotte, while taking Central Piedmont courses. This course is offered at UNC Charlotte, specifically for students in the Passport Program to help ease the transfer process from Central Piedmont to Charlotte
  • Social/sporting events & programming at UNC Charlotte & Central Piedmont.
    • Tickets for select sporting events and programs will be purchased by the Passport Program and students will be invited to participate in those events. Passport students and those enrolled in the seminar course are not permitted to join club or intramural sports, participate in Greek Life or join student clubs or organizations at UNC Charlotte while in the Passport program.
  • Priority registration at Central Piedmont
  • Learning cohorts with other students in the Passport Program
  • One-on-one advising from Passport Program academic advisors at Central Piedmont
  • Access to student mentors (Passport Leaders) who were previously in the program and successfully transitioned to UNC Charlotte
  • Passport students receive priority in the UNC Charlotte admissions process
  • Summer orientation program designed specifically for Passport students
  • Academic support services to help students become familiar with each campus
